Most Bay Area families don’t need a $3,000 attorney to set up — or update — a Living Trust. They need someone who knows exactly what to prepare and gets it done right. From the day you create your trust to the day your successor trustee needs to act, TrustPoint is with your family every step of the way.
At Trustpoint, we are dedicated to providing comprehensive legal services tailored to your unique needs. Located in San Jose, our team specializes in family law, estate planning, and civil law. We offer assistance with everything from unlawful detainers to Social Security disability applications, ensuring you receive the support and you deserve. Trust us for reliable and efficient legal solutions.
Without a Living Trust, your home goes through California probate. That means 12–18 months in court, $15,000–$25,000 in fees on an $800,000 home, and your family’s finances made completely public record. One appointment with TrustPoint prevents all of that.
TrustPoint prepares every document your trust requires — from the initial setup to every update, deed, and recording your family will ever need. One office. One flat fee. Everything handled.

We are with your family through every stage of your trust’s life — from the day it is created to the day it needs to be fully administered. No other service in San Jose handles all four stages under one roof at a flat fee.
We prepare your complete Living Trust package including the trust declaration, will, durable power of attorney, and advance healthcare directive. We walk you through every document in plain language before you sign. Most packages ready in 3–5 business days.
A trust that does not own your property is worthless. We prepare and same-day erecord every deed your situation requires — Grant Deed, Quitclaim Deed, Trust Transfer Deed, Interspousal Transfer Deed, and Correction Deed — across all 58 California counties. This is the step most online services and even some attorneys skip entirely
Life changes. Marriage, divorce, a new child, a property purchase, a change in trustees any of these may require a Trust Amendment, a Change of Trustee recording, or in some cases a full Revocation and replacement trust. TrustPoint prepares and records all of it at a flat fee.
When the original trustee passes away, the successor trustee must record the Affidavit of Death of Trustee with the County Recorder before they can legally sell, transfer, or refinance any property. Trust point prepares all required documents and records them the same day — so your family never has to figure this out alone during one of the most difficult moments of their life.
From trust creation to death of trustee recording, Trust Point is your family’s document preparation office for life.
This is the step most families do not know about until they are standing at the county recorder’s office confused and grieving. When the original trustee passes away, property cannot be sold, transferred, or refinanced until the correct documents are recorded with the County Recorder. Trust Point handles every step, in the correct order, same day.

We prepare the Affidavit of Death of Trustee, attach a certified copy of the death certificate, and electronically record it with the County Recorder the same day. This officially removes the deceased trustee from title and activates the successor trustee's legal authority.

If the trust names a new trustee going forward, we prepare and record the Change of Trustee document to formally establish their authority on the public record.

If the original deed was recorded with any errors — wrong name spelling, incorrect legal description, or outdated vesting language — we prepare a Correction Deed before any further transfers are made. Errors discovered at this stage can delay property sales or cause title insurance complications.

Once the successor trustee is properly established on title, we prepare the final deed transferring the property to the trust beneficiaries — Grant Deed, Quitclaim Deed, or Trust Transfer Deed depending on the situation — and record it the same day.
TrustPoint records the Affidavit of Death of Trustee same-day across all 58 California counties. Don’t let this wait.

Find quick answers to common questions about how we work.
No. A registered Legal Document Assistant (LDA) can legally prepare, amend, or revoke your living trust in California. TrustPoint is LDA #268, registered and bonded in Santa Clara County. We prepare the same documents at a fraction of attorney cost.
An Amendment modifies specific terms of your existing trust — changing a beneficiary, adding an asset, or updating a trustee. A Revocation cancels the trust entirely, typically when you are replacing it with a new one. TrustPoint prepares both.
An Amendment changes specific provisions. A Restatement rewrites the entire trust document while keeping the original trust date and structure intact — often used when there are many changes to make. TrustPoint prepares both.
This is one of the most common mistakes we see. If your home is still titled in your personal name rather than the trust, it will go through probate regardless of what your trust document says. We prepare the appropriate deed and record it same-day. Call (408) 766-3532 to fix this today.
We charge a flat fee — significantly less than attorney rates in the Bay Area. Call (408) 766-3532 for current pricing. No hourly billing. No surprises.
