Fees & Payments

Pricing: We offer flat-fee and hourly services ranging from $150–$200 per hour, with no retainer fee. Attorneys charge $400–$750 per hour and often require retainers.

Payment Methods: We accept all major credit/debit cards, Apple Pay, Zelle, Venmo, and Google Pay.

Note: Final pricing depends on document complexity, urgency, and any court/agency filing or recording fees.

Estate Planning (Living Trusts, Wills & Powers of Attorney)

What estate planning documents can you prepare?

Common packages include a Revocable Living Trust, Pour-Over Will, Durable Power of Attorney, Advance Health Care Directive, and trust transfer deed. We can also coordinate notary and recording.

How long does it take?

Most complete packages are prepared within 3–7 business days after your intake is complete. Rush options may be available.

Do you file or record documents for me?

We can coordinate notary services and county recorder submissions. Government recording fees and notary fees are separate.

Can you give estate planning advice?

No. We prepare documents based on your decisions. For advice on tax, asset protection, or trust design, consult an attorney or tax professional.

Civil Case Document Preparation

Which civil documents do you handle?

Complaints, Answers, Case Management Statements, Proofs of Service, basic Discovery templates, and stipulated judgments—prepared at your direction.

Do you e-file?

Where permitted, we can assist with e-filing or provide filing instructions. Court filing fees are paid directly to the court.

Will you represent me in court?

No. As an LDA service, we cannot represent you or appear on your behalf. We prepare documents and help organize exhibits.

Small Claims

What can you prepare for small claims?

Plaintiff’s Claim, Defendant’s Response, Proof of Service, fee waiver paperwork, and exhibit organization—plus hearing prep checklists.

Can you attend the hearing with me?

No. We cannot appear for you. We offer document preparation and practical checklists only.

How do fees work?

Flat-fee and hourly options are available depending on complexity. Court fees are separate.

Unlawful Detainer (Evictions)

Do you assist landlords or tenants?

We assist both landlords and tenants with document prep (Notices to Quit, Complaints/Answers, Proofs of Service) at your direction.

How fast is the process?

UD timelines are tight. We can prioritize your document prep; deadlines are set by statute and the court. Consult an attorney for strategy.

Can you advise on defenses?

No. We cannot advise on defenses or strategy. We can refer you to an attorney for legal advice.

Social Security Disability (SSDI/SSI)

What do you prepare?

Initial applications, reconsideration packets, hearing support documents, medical evidence checklists, and forms organization.

Do you represent me before SSA?

No. We provide paperwork preparation and organization only. For representation, consult an attorney or authorized representative.

What information do you need from me?

Medical providers, treatment dates, medications, work history, and activity limitations. We supply an intake checklist.

Bankruptcy Document Preparation

Which bankruptcy forms do you handle?

Chapter 7/13 petitions, Schedules A–J, Statement of Financial Affairs, Means Test forms, creditor matrix, and related declarations—at your direction.

Do you give advice on eligibility or exemptions?

No. We cannot advise on chapter selection, exemptions, or strategy. Consult a bankruptcy attorney for advice.

Will you file my case?

We assist with assembling and formatting your packet and provide filing instructions. Court filing fees are separate.

In-Home Supportive Services (IHSS)

How do you help with IHSS?

We assist with initial applications, hours increase requests, reassessments, appeals preparation, and organizing supporting evidence.

Can you attend county hearings?

No. We provide document preparation only. For representation or advocacy, consult an attorney or authorized advocate.

What documents should I bring?

Medical notes, care-need logs, prior IHSS determinations, and any county correspondence. We’ll give you a tailored checklist.

Family Law (Divorce, Separation, Child Custody/Support)

What family law documents do you prepare?

Petitions/Responses for divorce or legal separation, custody/visitation requests, child/spousal support forms, disclosures, and stipulated judgments—at your direction.

Do you handle mediation or court appearances?

No. We do not attend mediation or court. We prepare paperwork and provide filing/service instructions.

How long does it take to complete my packet?

Simple filings can be prepared within 2–5 business days after complete intake. Timelines vary by case complexity and court schedules.
