Yes. While TrustPoint is registered as Legal Document Assistant #268 in Santa Clara County, California LDAs may prepare legal documents for clients located anywhere in California. We serve clients across all 58 California counties through secure remote intake — phone, video, encrypted document portal, mail — and in person at our San Jose office.
Our remote process has four steps: (1) A free phone or video consultation to identify the documents you need; (2) A secure online intake form and encrypted document upload; (3) We prepare your documents and deliver them via secure portal or mail for review and signature; (4) Notarization is arranged locally to you, and filing is handled by us or by you depending on your county. Most matters complete within 5–10 business days.
No. In-person visits at our San Jose office are welcome but not required. The majority of our document preparation work — including living trusts, probate filings, name changes, business formation, and civil documents — can be completed entirely remotely with no need to travel.

If your case requires legal advice or court representation, we will refer you to a licensed California attorney instead of taking your case.
